About the Designer

My love affair with all things 'kitchen' began many years ago. It began with pies...raspberry, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, lemon meringue, pecan. As I mastered pies and pastry I began to search for other mediums to work with. My search brought me to cake and sugar art - oh the endless possibilities. Much of what I do is self taught but I have had the opportunity to study some aspects of sugar art under Klara Johnson - a wonderful teacher and beautiful person.

I have shared a small selection of photos in the slide show...as I come across more I will add them to show. 

My passion doesn't stop with just cakes and desserts...it carries through to the ingredients used in the creation of the final product.  I use organic ingredients where possible and can provide options for those of us that have made life choices to be vegan, vegetarians or raw foodists.  I also can provide dairy free options.  I am currently working to master some gluten free options as well.  (My environment is not nut free however.)
